Important - Enrolment Notes for Three Year Old Applicants
Your child must turn 3 by 30th April in the year they wish to commence and is unable to commence at the kindergarten until they have turned 3. If your child is unable to attend in Term 1, FULL FEES must still be paid to hold the place.
For children who turn 3 between January and April of the year they are to attend, parents are strongly recommended to discuss their options regarding commencing or delaying starting kinder. This is to consider looking ahead to your child’s readiness for 4 year old kinder and school readiness. All children are entitled to one year only of funded 4 year old kindergarten, and as such, there are very strict guidelines regarding accessing a second year of 4 year old kindergarten (eg medical condition). Three-year old Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and children known to Child Protection are eligible to attend a funded early childhood program that is planned and delivered by a qualified early childhood teacher free of charge. The service receives funding for children who meet the eligibility criteria.

The Government’s No Jab No Play laws require all children to be age-appropriately immunised before enrolment can be confirmed. Under the ‘No Jab, No Play’ legislation, before enrolling a child, early childhood education and care services have to first obtain evidence that the child is up to date with all vaccinations that are due for their age, or that they are able to receive.
An Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) is the only form of documentation accepted for the purpose of enrolling in an early childhood education and care service.
After enrolment, parents will need to continue to provide up to date Immunisation History Statements to their child’s early childhood service, if their status changes.

If you are having difficulty accessing your child’s Immunisation History Statement online, or are unable to print it at home, please contact the Enrolments Officer and we can assist you at the kinder.
You can also call the AIR enquiries line 1800 653 809 and ask them to send your immunisation history statement to you. It can take up to 14 days to arrive in the post.
Please note: Only Immunisation History Statements from the Australian Immunisation Register will be accepted as evidence of immunisation.
