    IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

    You are required to complete a Kindergarten Registration Form to register your child.

    If you are enrolling more than one child, you will need to complete a separate registration form for each child.

    This is a registration form only, not a guarantee of a kindergarten place. Registrations are not prioritised by date entry and priority of access criteria applies.

    There is a non-refundable administration fee of $50 per family. There is no charge for families who:
    are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or
    hold or has a parent/guardian who holds a Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Veteran’s Affairs Card, or
    are a multiple birth child (triplets or more), or
    holds or has a parent/guardian who holds a Humanitarian or Refugee Visa

    You will be required to upload evidence of your child’s date of birth (e.g. birth certificate or passport) to finalise your registration. If you do not have a birth certificate, please contact the office on 5579 5920.

    For 2027, kindergarten days and session times will change at some services due to the increased hours for four-year-olds. This is expected to impact staffing, and scheduling across the service. Days and times of kindergarten programs will be finalised once enrolment numbers are confirmed.

  • Note:  To be eligible to attend a participating kindergarten program, your child must be three or four-years-old on or before 30 April in the year that they are to attend the program.  Please click here for further information.

    Should your child turn 3 in the year of enrolment, but prior to 30 April, you and your child will be required to attend an interview with the Early Childhood Teacher at your preferred kindergarten.

    • In instances where more eligible children apply for a place at a kindergarten service than there are places available, CPSG must prioritise children based on the Department of Education's priority of access criteria and work with other local kindergarten services and the local Early Childhood Improvement Branch (ECIB) to ensure all eligible children have access to a kindergarten place.

      Children enrolled in a funded kindergarten program are eligible to access a repeat year of funded 3 or 4 year old kindergarten, only if the early childhood teacher has assessed eligibility for your child to be considered for a second year.

    • Registration Fee

      A $50 non-refundable per-family registration fee must accompany your child’s application (not applicable to concession card holders)

      By submitting this registration, the parent/guardian:

      • is the lawful authority of the child referred to in this registration form;
      • declares that the information provided in this form is true and correct and undertake to immediately inform CPSG in the event of any change to this information; and
      • understands that this is a registration form, not a guarantee of placement. Offers for kindergarten places will be made in the August / September prior to the application year.

    • Your Privacy

      CPSG considers that the responsible handling of personal information is a key aspect of democratic governance and is strongly committed to protecting an individual’s right to privacy.  CPSG will comply with the information Privacy Principles as set out in the Information Privacy Act, 2000.  The personal information required on forms used will only be used for the purpose of provision of Early Years services.  The information will not be disclosed to any other party unless CPSG is required to do so by law.  You can view and change the information by contacting the individual kindergarten or the Executive Officer on 5579 5920 or by emailing info@cpsg.org.au.
