Please use this form to provide an expression of interest for your child to attend a Baw Baw Shire Kindergarten in 2026 or beyond.

For applications in 2025 please submit an application form by clicking here. Once the expression of interest form is completed you will be kept up to date with kinder information and be notified when the application process opens for your child’s enrolment year. Central Kindergarten Enrolment Scheme allows Baw Baw residents to enrol in funded Kindergartens programs across the shire ran by external service provider.

In submitting this expression of interest you are:

Acknowledging that the Council accepts this expression of interest on behalf of participating kindergartens but gives no guarantee that a place will be available in the kindergarten nominated or in any other kindergarten in the municipality; and
Confirming that if a previous expression of interest has been made to Baw Baw Shire you agree that your most recent (last) expression of interest will be considered only; and
Acknowledging that the Council will be using data from this expression of interest for future planning which may include waiting lists between kindergartens.

Privacy notification: The personal and health information collected on this form is being collected by the Council for the purposes of planning current and future kindergarten services in Baw Baw Shire. The information will be used solely by Council and its contract service providers and external Government Agencies for that purpose or a directly related purpose. The information shall remain private and confidential within Council and will only be disclosed to other persons or agencies as consented by the enrolling parent or the authorised parent/guardian. The applicant understands that the personal and health information provided is for the placement of children in kindergarten services in Baw Baw Shire and they may apply to Council's Privacy Officer in writing for access to and/or amendment of the information.
