    For the best chance of being offered a place, register your child by 31 May the year before they start kindergarten. 

    Late registrations will be accepted, but those received by 31 May are given priority in the allocation of places.

    Please Note:

    This registration does not guarantee a placement.

    Every Victorian child is eligible for free kindergarten.

    Based on the Date of Birth for your child, your registration does not meet the age criteria for the year you have requested.

  • Please note, children need to turn three years of age on, or before, 30 April and can only commence on or after their third birthday.

    • 2026 Options 

    • In instances where there are more registrations than places available, Council uses DE’s prescribed Priority of Access (PoA) criteria, followed by locally agreed criteria, to decide how places are allocated.

    • 2027 and Beyond Options 

    • Integrated kindergarten programs run most weeks of the year and are open for longer periods each day, therefore free kindergarten is provided as a subsidy and additional fees will apply, please contact the service directly to confirm what these fees would be for your family.

    • Preference for Riddells Creek - Gumboots Early Learning is considered an Expression of Interest until this service receives its Service Licence.
