Privacy and Confidentiality: Hume City Council (Family, Youth and Children’s Services) collects information in relation to families and children to provide to children services programs and for secondary research purposes. Council will only collect personal information and health records that are necessary for its functions and activities. We will not give out information we hold about you without your consent unless otherwise required to do so by law. You may access your personal information and health records by contacting Hume City Council on 9205 2200.

Please use this form to provide an expression of interest for your child to attend a Hume City Council Kindergarten.

Once the expression of interest form is completed, you will be kept up to date with kindergarten information and be notified when the application process opens for your child’s enrolment year. For more information or assistance please contact the Kindergarten Enrolment Officer at kindergarten@hume.vic.gov.au.

The Central Kindergarten Enrolment Scheme allows Hume residents to enrol in funded Kindergartens programs across the municipality run by council and selected external service providers.

In submitting this expression of interest, you are:
- Acknowledging that the Council accepts this expression of interest on behalf of both Hume City Council run kindergartens and participating external service providers but gives no guarantee that a place will be available in the kindergarten nominated or in any other kindergarten in the municipality; and
- Acknowledging that the Council will be using data from this expression of interest for future planning which may include waiting lists between kindergartens.
Where you have indicated a preference for a non-Council run kindergarten, your personal information will be provided to the service provider if a placement is offered and/or accepted at the kindergarten.
