    • Families with children born between January and April can choose which year to start Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. Please remember, that this will determine the year they start school.     • Children turning three during their kindergarten year can only commence once they have turned three years of age.

    Kindergarten places are allocated to eligible children in accordance with the Department of Education Priority of Access as outlined in the Wyndham City Council Central Registration and Enrolment Scheme and Priority of Access Information.     • How to view kindergarten and timetable information:


      1. Select your program type and year from the dropdown menu.

      2. Enter your home address or suburb to drop pin your location, displayed by a blue home icon.

      4. If you prefer specific days, untick the days of the week you do not want to see timetable information for.

      3. Use the + sign to zoom in to your home location to easily navigate between kindergartens which are displayed by green pins.

      5. Clicking on kindergarten service locations will display the kindergarten details, program type and timetables for your preferred days.

    • Please note, this timetable is provisional as it is subject to change due to State and Federal funding and operational requirements of the centres, including the addition and cancellation of groups as well as changes to group numbers and types (for example to a mixed group). Please see the website for the updated timetable.

      *Mixed-Age Groups – Bring together children aged three to four years old, providing a unique opportunity for learning and development, offering 15 hours each week. Mixed Age group options have the Group name and age represented as “Group Name – 3YO” or “ Group Name – 4YO

      **Multi-Room Groups – Will attend over two days in two rooms. These groups will attend the first day in one room, and the second day in another room.

      ***Rotational Groups - Currently available in 2025 only – In rotational groups, your child will still enjoy 15 hours of kindergarten each week. The only difference is that your child’s group will socialise with other groups throughout the week, allowing your child to build friendships and connections with a wider group of peers.

      Wyndham City Council is bound by the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and the Health Records Act 2001. Your consent is required for the collection and use of your personal and/or health information and that of your child. The personal and health information requested on this form is being collected by Council for the purpose of planning and delivering proper health and developmental care and education services to your child while obtaining and/or attending Wyndham services (which includes MCH, Kindergarten, PFSO Services). The information will be used by Council and it may be shared with Educators, early intervention, health and welfare service providers for the purposes mentioned. Your information will be stored in Council’s Customer Database and used to identify you when communicating with Council and for Council to deliver services and information to you. The information will only be disclosed to other persons or agencies if consented to by both parents; or the authorised parent/guardian; or as permitted by law.
