The Government’s No Jab No Play laws require all children to be age-appropriately immunised before enrolment can be confirmed. Further information on immunisation requirements for enrolment in early childhood services is available on the State Government's Better Health Channel.

We support the Department of Education and Training (DET) policy direction that prioritises the inclusion of children with additional needs, children of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background, asylum seeker and refugee families with an appropriate visa, children known to Child Protection and a child or parent that holds a Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Veteran’s Affairs Card or multiple birth children (triplets, quadruplets). Families that demonstrate that they have a child in one of these categories will be allocated to a kindergarten program as a high priority.

The personal information requested on this application is collected by Latrobe City Council for the provision of central enrolment placement for early childhood education and care services in the region. This information will be used by Latrobe City Council for that primary purpose and/or directly related purposes, e.g. invoicing of fees/ placement and transition of children to kindergarten etc. All information will be treated confidentially. Latrobe City Council may disclose information compiled to relevant Government and Kindergarten Service Providers for the purpose of enrolment and kindergarten funding. Additional information gathered about children’s special needs will be used to support the transition process to kindergarten for these children.
