Kindergarten registration and enrolment is a 4-STEP process.
Registration
- Step 1: Families register their preferred kindergarten sessions (this is not an enrolment)
- Step 2: Council allocates, places, and offers your child a kindergarten session via an email.*
- Step 3: Families accept or decline the offer.
Enrolment
- Step 4: Families finalise the enrolment details, directly with the kindergarten. This is now an enrolment. Additional days/hours, if available, will be managed by the service directly with families.
*A registration does not guarantee a kindergarten place. While every effort is
made to allocate all registrations, when there are more registrations than places
available, State Government Priority of Access and Bayside Allocation Criteria are
applied. If your child does not receive an offer, you will be notified that your child
is on the waitlist and council will advise your options.
