This is not a registration form. To register your child for kindergarten, you will need to fill out a registration form the year before they start.

We encourage families to submit an expression of interest to:
- Receive important kindergarten updates
- Get a reminder when it’s time to register
- Help kindergartens plan for future enrolments
You can submit an expression of interest any time after your child is born.

When registrations open for your child’s kindergarten year, we will email you a unique link to complete the full registration. At that time, you’ll need to provide more details about your child and your preferred kindergartens.

When to start Kindergarten
Age Requirements for Kindergarten

To attend funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten, your child must turn 3 by 30 April in the year they start.
- If your child is born between January and April, you can choose to start them in the year they turn 3 or wait until the year they turn 4
- Some kindergartens may ask children to start after their 3rd birthday due to staffing requirements
For Four-Year-Old Kindergarten, your child must turn 4 by 30 April in the year they start. They can begin at the start of the year.
