    Central Registration for Funded Kindergarten
  • Eligibility
    To start Three-Year-Old Kindergarten, your child must turn 3 by 30 April in the year they will attend kindergarten. Please note that most kindergartens will not allow children to attend until after their third birthday.
    To start Four-Year-Old Kindergarten, your child must turn 4 by 30 April in the year they will attend kindergarten.
    Families with children born between January and April can choose which year to start Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. These children can start in the same year they turn 3, or in the year they turn 4 years of age. Find out more by visiting Sending your child to kinder on the Victorian Government website.

  • Second Year of Funded Kindergarten

    Children enrolled in a funded kindergarten program are eligible to access a repeat year of funded 3 or 4 year old kindergarten, only if the early childhood teacher has assessed eligibility for your child to be considered for a second year.
