    This Kindergarten Expression of Interest form can be used by parents/guardians to register their interest for their child for kindergarten, this form is only if your child is not old enough to register for kindergarten. City of Ballarat will contact you when kindergarten registrations open for your child.  We will ask you at that time for your kindergarten preferences.

    For support filling out this form Kindergarten Registration drop in is available every Thursday at Parent Place, 39 Sturt St, Ballarat Central 9:30am-2:30pm (no bookings required.) Interpreter support available.

    • Failure to provide complete and correct information may result in important updates regarding upcoming Registration Timelines for my child not being received.
    • This expression of interest form does not guarantee a three-or four-year-old kindergarten placement. A registration form is required for applications to kindergarten programs.
    • Three- and four-year-old kindergarten places are allocated separately. This expression of interest will help council and services plan their future kindergarten programs for these respective age groups.
    • To participate in the Central Kindergarten Registration Scheme my personal information will be shared securely with the preferred kindergarten service provider nominated by me on this and subsequent forms.
