The Central Registration Scheme for Funded Kindergarten is administered by the City of Kingston on behalf of participating sessional kindergarten services operated by the City of Kingston, committees or early years managers in Kingston.
This includes funded three and four-year-old sessional kindergarten and its FREE to register!
Children are prioritised based on the Victorian Government’s Kindergarten Priority of Access Policy. New Priority of Access criteria will apply for kindergarten enrolments from 2027 which includes children moving from three to four-year-old kindergarten.
Once priority children have been placed, we consider the child’s residential proximity, and any prior connection to their first option group.
When completing this registration form, you’ll need to provide documentation verifying your child’s date of birth.
Where relevant, you may be asked to provide the following supporting documentation:
- A Health Care or Pension or DVA card in you or your child’s name.
- Confirmation of any additional needs you or your child may have eg: identified specific disability or developmental delay.
Please note, we may also ask you for other information and supporting documentation.
This is a registration form only and does not guarantee a kindergarten placement or confirmation of enrolment.
To find out more about enrolment requirements, including the Victorian Government’s No Jab No Play Policy, please contact the kindergarten directly or go to their website.
Three and four year old kindergarten is FREE and children can only access one funded kindergarten place per year.
